How do I find the application form?
If the application period is ongoing, the application form is available in Studyinfo.fi. Search for the degree program and you will find the application form as well. Please note that there may be many application forms open in Studyinfo at the same time, even to the same degree programme depending on the educational background, so please make sure you fill in the right one.
What is joint application?
In joint application to higher education in Finland you fill in one application form and can apply with the same application for six different degree programmes in either one or several higher education institutions.

You may apply in joint application and in separate application processes at the same time. Please always remember to check the eligibility requirements for each application process in Studyinfo.

You need e.g. a matriculation examination / high school final examination or a vocational upper secondary qualification - in other words, you need a qualification that provides eligibility for higher education in your own country.
I have completed my Bachelor’s/Master’s degree outside Finland, is it ok?
That is OK and a recognition by the Finnish National Agency for Education is not usually needed.
Can I get admission points for my matriculation examination?
If you have completed a Finnish matriculation examination in 1990 or after, your grades are in a register. If the degree programme uses matriculation examination as a scoring method (see Admission criteria), your grades will automatically transform to admission points.
If you have completed a Finnish matriculation examination before 1990, the diploma saved on the application form is the way to get the points.
Grades from IB (International Baccalaureate), EB (European Baccalaureate) and DIA Diploma (RP Diploma, German Reifeprüfung) are converted and considered if you save the diploma on the application and if the degree programme uses IB, EB and DIA/RP grades as a scoring method.
Do I get admission points for work experience? How do I prove that I have been working?
If the degree programme uses work experience as a scoring method (see Admission criteria), you can get admission points from relevant work experience. You must prove your work experience with a work certificate (reference) that indicates the time when you have been working and the content of your duties.
Do I need to submit IELTS to prove my English language skills?
